Let me explain

So, a while back I started a different blog about 'fashion' and ' what I wore' and tried to update it daily, but let's be honest, it was shit.
I wrote 1, or maybe 2, decent posts.
The rest were forced and just awful.
I have no sense of style and I didn't really go anywhere to blog about stuff daily, so who was I really kidding?!
My pictures were amateur as well... it got stale quickly and I think my friends were just being nice sharing it about to be honest.
I tried writing a Second blog and transferred a few decent posts across to that but I got quickly bored of that one for the same reason. (Bit stupid to try a fix a problem with another identical problem.)

I'm a pretty blunt and candid person, but I am extremely loyal. It's what my husband loves about me. (I think.)

I hate lying to people, or holding my tongue when something needs to be said.
However I know when I am meant to shut up and just lately, fucking Facebook is really pushing my buttons.

Talk about a bunch of boring people who only post the awful stuff for sympathy and attention or the amazing day out stuff to make others jealous. God forbid you tell people you had toast for lunch because you're the worst.

I'm guilty of all those things. But the one big thing we all need to remember - only your family and top 10 closest friends actually care about your news - the good or the bad.

So instead of posting my every damn move on Facebook for 300+ 'friends' too ignore me/stalk me/complain about me, I've cut down my Facebook friends to less than 100 people and decided to start this new blog that is more like me.

It doesn't have a specific purpose. It isn't just a 'fashion' blog for people to get tips and tricks from. It's not an agony aunt page for you to share your woes and expect some sound advice (although I am the agony aunt to my best friends and I seem to do a pretty good job!)

It's a bit of everything mashed up with balls of wool and scales (Just to clarify I'm not half sheep-half lizard hybrid. I knit and own reptiles.)

I am an odd person with odd thoughts,  I don't follow the crowd, I don't have an amazing sense of style, I don't look like a top model and I'm happy like that.
